Getting Started
Main Color - will start/stop the color shift loop.
Status switch will toggle the display information on/off. This will work interactively, that is if you turn it off for a while it will re-start at the current state of the loop.
Clamp Colors will put a floor and ceiling on the colors calculated. By default it is on, so that the colors peak out at CC (204 decimal) per channel and have a floor of 33 (51 decimal). This makes by and large a nicer palette of colors overall. If this is switched off, then the colors will have their full 8-bit range, 256 colors per channel.
Speed - This sets the interval between operations, the default is 100 milliseconds. The other values are 300 and 500 ms. 500 is pretty slow.
Well, this is a page I call 'colorshift'. It cycles through a range of RGB colors and changes the background of the browser at the same time. It does not hit every possible 8-bit RGB color, as this would be very time consuming and not very nice looking, either. Instead it basically cycles through different hues, starting with red and going all the way through violet.
